A Grade 2 Listed coach house with two wagon sheds and central stalls had fallen into disrepair.
The front of the building has been carefully restored and partially rebuilt to its former glory with the help of some old photographs. A new performance studio has been slotted into the courtyard to the rear. Scissor trusses are expressed internally and lit from above with roof lights.
The historic fabric and original details of the existing building have been carefully restored with natural stone and lime mortars, whilst the new work has unashamedly clean contemporary lines to contrast and complement.
