The original farmhouse to this Grade 2 Listed building dates from mediaeval times. The site also sits within the Bristol Green Belt and AONB, and the freehold is owned by the National Trust.
The design included a new link between the farmhouse and barns, change of use to two barns to provide ancillary accommodation, stabilisation of another barn and repairs and refurbishment to the workshop and open barn roofs.
A pellet boiler, heat stove and wood burning stove have been installed with separate pellet storage. Permission was obtained for the use of solar panels. Salvaged tiles and bricks were reused with English oak boarding and joinery.
