Remodelled Family House
A 1980's ranch style house has been remodelled to suit a young family. A poorly positioned and inadequately insulated conservatory was taken down and replaced in a different position.
We have opened up the Lower Ground Floor rooms to provide light through a number of new windows by the use of light wells. Natural light has been introduced into the heart of the house via roof lights and light tubes. The open plan kitchen area links with the new Playroom and to the large rear garden.
South West facing solar panels will provide hot water throughout much of the year, whilst higher levels of insulation and improved glass will contribute towards reducing costs. The new extension has a Sedum roof to help increase its visual appeal and enhance the buildings performance.
